For little ones aged 1 and up

Learning that feels like play

Kululu the storytelling grandpa and his friend Juno turn colours, letters, numbers, music and stories into games your child will want to play again and again.

On iPad and iPhone now, and Android is coming soon. Colours, Numbers and the first story are free forever.

Made for children who can't read yet

Every question is spoken aloud, every right answer gets a real cheer, and every activity grows with your child.

Spoken, not written

Kululu and Juno say every instruction out loud in warm, friendly voices, so even a one-year-old can play on their own.

Grows with them

Activities match your child's age and get a little harder as they succeed, so it's never too easy and never too hard.

Joyful, not addictive

Stars, confetti and a real children's "Yaaay!" celebrate learning. No ads, no pop-ups, no endless feeds.

18 ways to play and learn

From first colours to first steps in coding, every activity is short, spoken aloud and made for little hands.

Stories where your child helps

In Kululu's Adventures, children don't just listen. They knock on a magic door, count the stars, shout to open the way and gently wake a sleepy giant, and the story waits for them.

  • Read aloud by Kululu, with sound effects and music
  • Children count, sing, clap and speak along
  • Short enough for little attention spans

Safe by design

We're parents too. Kululu is built the way we'd want an app for our own children to be built.

  • No ads, ever, and no third-party tracking in the app
  • Settings, purchases and links sit behind a grown-up check
  • We only ask for your child's first name and age
  • Up to 6 children, each with their own age, activities and stars
  • Play together: take turns on one iPad, or join grandparents over FaceTime
  • Delete your account and all your children's data at any time, right in the app

Questions parents ask

What age is Kululu for?

Kululu is made for children from about age 1 to 5. When you add a child you tell us their age, and Kululu picks activities that suit it. Toddlers see simple colour, shape, animal and number games; older children get letters, reading, maths, puzzles and early coding.

Is Kululu on Android?

Not yet. Kululu is on iPad and iPhone today, and an Android version is on the way. Join the waitlist and we'll let you know as soon as it's ready.

Does my child need to be able to read?

No. Every question and instruction is spoken aloud by Kululu or Juno, and children answer by tapping, speaking or singing.

Are there ads or in-app purchases aimed at children?

Never. There are no ads in Kululu. The only purchase is the Kululu Premium subscription, and it sits behind a grown-up check that young children can't pass.

Can more than one child use it?

Yes. Add up to 6 children to one account. Each gets their own animal, activities for their age and their own stars, and one subscription covers them all.

Which devices does it work on?

Kululu works on iPad and iPhone. Sign in on another device with the same account and your children's progress follows them.
